A LITTLE PLANNING. A CLEARER PICTURE.
What could your
payment look like?
Try a few numbers, include your trade, and plan your next ride.
Where does the starting rate come from?
The editable starting rates are 6.15% for new cars and 8.81% for used cars, based on Experian’s Q2 2026 averages for the prime credit tier (VantageScore 4.0 scores 661–780). This is our good-credit benchmark, not a personalized rate or a Toyota promotional offer.
Source published September 10, 2026; checked October 10, 2026. This is a dated benchmark, not a live rate feed. View Experian’s rate data ↗
Switching new/used updates the starting rate unless you’ve entered your own. Choose “Use average rate” to restore the benchmark for the selected vehicle type.
How is the payment estimated?
This uses a fixed-rate loan with equal monthly payments, the annual rate divided by 12, and no balloon payment. APR is used as an approximate annual borrowing rate; lender fee treatment and daily interest can make actual payments differ. Figures are rounded for display.
Net trade-in equity is the entered trade value minus its loan payoff. Positive equity reduces the amount financed; negative equity increases it in this estimate. Financing negative equity is subject to lender approval. Insurance, ongoing ownership costs, and optional products are not included. Only the additional taxes and fees you enter are added; any trade-related tax credit is not calculated automatically. A longer term can reduce the monthly payment while increasing total interest at the same rate.
